I got a letter in the mail last week from someone who wanted to buy my house it was not for sale in fact we just bought it 6months ago I called my Realtor to see what he thought he told be he was going to find out who wanted my house and what for and call me on Monday. Monday came and in the after noon I finally called him he found out nothing. MY husband and I thought it would be nice to go look at houses he showed us 2 and while he was showing us I asked if he could set up a meeting with the guy who wants are house he told me know that he wanted to find a house we liked first and then go to him with an offer I told him I did not want to waste time looking at houses if It was not going to pan out I have 3 small children and it is not fair to them he did not set anything up so I called the guys Realtor who wants to buy are house and told him my thoughts he came back with an offer for us by the end of the Day 27,000 more then we payed for our house We took it and my Realtor is pretty up set because he does not get any of that money I told him we would still us him to buy a new house he had as sign a contract and we were going to look at houses today he told us he would set it up he never called to give us a time and he did not answer when we called him we live right by his office and he was there part of the day Can I get out of the contract? If so how? If not what do I do?

It is not clear which contract(s) that you are refering to.

If you don't sell you house you don't have to buy a new house and while the contract is not cancelled it is effectively null.

I don't know if you have finalized the contract to sell your house or not.

And for as the contract to use her as a buyer's agent for a new house most often the contract is with a BROKER and you are dealing with an agent.

Go to the supervising broker about this problem. They can cancel it or transfer you to a different agent.

ya done ****ed him off. there are many realtors out there that would LOVE to help you out. i say "get rid of him." you can sell your house any day of the week and dont need to give him a dime. dont let him fool you, you dont need him. he's like a car sales man. i wouldnt screw with him. if you like the other guys realtor, i"d run with him. i am a real estate agent, but dont have much respect for "snakes in the grass"
