Why are my roof shingles curling up and what can I do to correct or prevent any further curling? Appreciate a response.

hosalli Your shingles are probably old and need replaced but if you don't get rid of the heat that is built up in your attic your new shingles will eventually do the same thing. The heat up there is terrific and it is frying your shingles. You need plenty of venting in your attic. Talk to any roofer about this problem and he will tell you in a minute what you need. This is no big deal to fix.Do not let anyone put new shingles on your house before telling you how he is going to address the problem of too much heat up there. If you do not fix the problem first your new shingles will eventually be prematurely curled up again. Keep Shingling Mitc@BellAtlanticNet |
