I'm having a custom Caesarstone countertop made up for my bathroom. The bathroom's small, it doesn't have a tank toilet, and I can only fit a 20" vanity under the sink. Using the "banjo" design for the counter will give me much needed counter space. The arm of the counter will be 27", extending over the toilet, ending at a perpendicular wall.

My question - Is there a way to support the counter arm that will give strong & sturdy support without the use of 'L' brackets? I really dislike the look of those brackets and don't feel very confident in them. Is there a better way to go??

All you need to support the banjo leg is a cleat on the wall behind the stool and on the end wall. Engineered stone, which is what Caesarstone is, can span 36", so you don't really need support behind it, but I would still put it there just in case. Good luck
