Clean cedar siding without damage

06/12/2008 12:11 PM StevenCW

I've read most of the posts with regards to cleaning cedar siding. Most recommend using a mixture of bleach and water, spray on and rinse off. The question I have is, will this kill all my beautiful landscaping around my house? Also, I have vinyl siding. Will this bleach out the color of my vinyl siding (I have blue)? Is there a product that won't kill my plants and damage the rest of my house?

I would use a product called Jomax to clean the house as it does a great job. You should wet your plants down first to make sure no damage occurs and that is for anything you use.
