We are buying our first house and I am wondering if there is a general guideline for the depth of the fridge... we are contemplating several different size fridges... with handle included - they range from 4-9" sticking out past the fridge "nook" (don't know the terminology but it's wood work designed to frame the fridge). 9" sounds way too far tho so what's a good rule?
