Elastomeric on wood HELP!

08/09/2008 01:19 AM bvusername

One year ago I incorrectly used elastomeric paint on my wood ceiling in my Florida room. I realized it when my helper had already painted half the ceiling. Now portions of it are bubbling up (with water inside) and when I remove the paint the wood underneath looks like it has aged poorly in the last year (like it has been kept humid.
My question is: how do I get rid of the elastomeric paint on the parts of the ceiling that have not bubbled up yet?
Help!

That is tough stuff. Google "silent paint remover" and order one. It will take off an area the sise of a shoebox at a time.
