I have seen where a product called Reward Walls or walls that include the insulation and have concrete poured in between the insulation. However, how does one do the electrical with these walls? It seems that after you put up the walls you would have to cut the insulation or form in order to put in the outlets. If that is true, I would take the belief that this would be a lot of work to do. Also, what happens if after you put up the wall and have the drywall up, you want to add another outlet somewhere? In a 'regular' wall you just fish the wire through, how would it be done with the reward wall? It appears that it would be very difficult. I must be missing something, thus the reason for this inquiry.
I am very interested in this technology, but worry about the ease of the electrical.
It appears that this way of putting up walls might be better than the conventional way. Is this true, or is the 'conventional' way, with the new and improved way of insulating just as good? |
