Just seeking clarification on high/ low returns in the same room. Forced air heat and cooling. (Heat Pump) Low return has a damper to close. what configuration ( high open/ low open? during cooling and during heating.

Warm air rises and stays there until it gets cooler than colder air below it (by then it isn't warm air.)
