That should probably work, though a foot or so would be better.
The worst that is likely to happen is that the device(s) connected to the data lines would communicate slower, because the interference from the power line would cause errors (especially when the light is switched on or off). But with 6" spacing, I think the data lines would work, just slower.
It might be worthwhile to test that now, before you enclose all that wiring.
Put a computer on the data line, do a few transfers, and keep track of the speed & error rate. Then put a light bulb at the end of that electrical line, power it up, and try the same transfers again. Compare the two, and see if it works well enough to be acceptable. |
