I have knotty pine cabinets with a white countertop. Nothing wrong with it, actually like it....What color should I paint the walls. Whole house is going to be done in early colonial and primitive decor. HELP????Thank you all

It sounds similar to my kitchen. I think a kitchen should be bright. You should go with a nice mellow yellow. Not too sharp, but more on the golden yellow. It will brighten up the cabinets and be more inviting to everyone.

I personally also like a bright kitchen but I think I would have to go with a light blue to bring in colors from out side. Painting the kitchen yellow might bring out to much of the yellow in the pine.
