Moving old Caloric range

07/09/2008 02:42 PM ultramatic

I need to move my beautiful 1950 Caloric Ultramatic range. It is STUCK to the floor. Four men can't budge it!

Is there possibly a way to remove the broiler drawers to see if it's been glued, bolted or screwed to the floor? Any hints are greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Before my time

Sorry but I'm not familiar with the construction of Caloric ranges of that era. If no one posts here to let you know, try asking at some of the appliance restoration companies listed in my web site's 'Appliance Links' section under "Restoration".

Good luck!
