Painting Grass Cloth

Does anyone know the best way to paint grass cloth (What type of paint and does the finished product look proffesional)?

I would prime it with an oil based stain killer type product to seal out any staining from the grass and to lock it down to the wall. The finish paint should be an latex flat which will minimize the texture of the wallcovering.

This is assuming that the grasscloth is on the wall tight.
