Price Pfister Tub/Shower water valve

Price Pfister single valve water control in tub/shower slow leak. I cannot get the cover plate off to remove valve for repair or replacement. Do not want to break something. No set screw. I have tried prying and turning, it will not budge.

Have you tried contacting PF as they are a really good company to deal with .... Just give them a model number
