I am in the process of building a garage and when back filling we hit the block/brick column that seperates two of the garage doors it is about 15 1/2 inches long standard 8 inch block width (7 3/4) and about 24 inches high. It will sit about 4 inches under the slab once is it poured, I am wondering if there is anyway I can repair it without having to lay the couple courses of block and brick.
My idea was to just pour concrete down in the block and sit the pillar back on top, letting the concrete push up inside the pillar. Any comment or additional ideas are appreciated. thanks, chris |
