Replacing the thermocoupling on a gas water heater

11/27/2002 04:31 AM Robert Jordan

I need some help or downloadable directions for changing the thermocoupling on my ***** 40 Gallon propane water heater. The pilot light will not stay lit and I have ruled out any other problem. I have never done this type of repair and would appreciate any assistance available. The model number of the ***** water heater is 153.334851. Thanks in advance!!!!

You can find one set of instructions at the following link, I don't know how similar it is to your model though.
