Wiring Chandelier

08/16/2008 04:11 PM wimbly91

I have a large Moroccan Lantern that I want to wire as a chandelier.
Currently, there is a chandelier in place with 4 sockets.
I want to wire the new lantern with a total of 9 sockets. I would like one socket to handle at least 100 watts and the other eight, at least 40. How do I make sure the exisitng zip line is big enough to handle this.
I then assume I would link all hot wires together and all neutral together and connect to the main line.
I have very basic knwoledge of what I'm doing , but I'm no rocket scientist on this.
Any help is appreciated.

Thanks
