***** Craftsman Belt Sander Model# 315-11720

07/14/2004 05:51 PM Ranger972

Could anyone tell me where I might locate an owners manual for an old ***** Craftsman Belt Sander Model# 315-11720. I found the parts list and a diagram on the ***** website but no owners manual.
Also, would anyone know where I might find an owners manual for an old Powr-Kraft(Montgomery Ward) Sander Model# TWH-8514.

I picked both of these up at a garage sale but neither had manuals with them.

Thanks

David

I too, have a 3" belt sander Model no. 315.11720 that runs like a champ. BUT it needs a new sanding belt, and I would really like a copy of the manual. I wrote to *****/Craftsman and requested a copy of the manual, however "Unfortunately, ***** no longer has a manual available for this tool.".
I would really like to use this tool, if you have a copy could you post it?
Thanks for any help.

The manual is at *****.com but you have to purchase it. Below is the model number and part number for owner manual that I copied and pasted.

Model # 315.11720

Hi,

Your post is old, so don't know if this will reach you. I'm a retired lady who needs to sand a door, so my son-in-law helped me buy a Craftsman 3" belt sander, Model No. 315.11720 at a pawn shop, then went back to Alaska before he could show me how to put the sandpaper thingie on.

Were you successful in finding an instruction manual for your sander? If so, could you share how you did that?

Thanks for any help!!

manual for Craftsman # 315.11720

04/29/2007 10:09 PM cshade

Hi,

I'm a retired lady who's kind of handy, and my son-in-law helped me buy an old Craftsman belt sander at a pawn shop because I'm taking about 8,000 coats of paint off my front door.

He went back to Alaska before he could show me how to change the sandpaper belt thing -- do you have a manual you could share?

Thanks for any help.
