Special features make Bob's Miami Beach condo a true vacation getaway. This week Bob installs an inset bar with glass shelving, mirrors, and recessed lighting, which add to the light and chrome-filled character of this updated bayside condominium. A chrome-look counter and refrigerator complete the space. Bob also looks at options for frosted glass and art glass insets to customize the pocket doors between the living room and bedroom. The palm and leaf-patterned glass that is selected for the doors blends art with function as light passes through but the view to he interior is obstructed. The original aluminum sliding doors to the balcony are removed and completely refurbished, saving the expense of all new sliders. New slider wheels make them look and function like new. Finally, the dressing room is outfitted with laminated cubbies for storage and a luggage bench for packing and unpacking in preparation for the first arrival.
