Replace old washing machine hoses with stainless-steel ones to protect against leaks and deterioration.
Step 6: Connect the hose to the water supply
Connect the new hose to the water supply, tightening the fitting by hand and then snugging it tight with the pliers. Do not over-tighten the fitting.
Connect the hose to the water supply.

The water supply must be completely closed before you disconnect hoses. If there is any leaking water, shut off the main water supply until the project is complete.
