How To Replace Old Washer Hoses

Replace old washing machine hoses with stainless-steel ones to protect against leaks and deterioration.
Step 8: Disconnect the hot-water hose and connect the new line
Disconnect the hot-water hose from the inlet at the back of the washing machine. Attach the new stainless-steel hose by tightening the fittings by hand and then with a turn of the pliers. Do not over-tighten.
After you disconnect the old hose from the machine, tighten the fitting on the new stainless-steel hose.

The water supply must be completely closed before you disconnect hoses. If there is any leaking water, shut off the main water supply until the project is complete.
