| The water supply must be completely closed before you disconnect hoses. If there is any leaking water, shut off the main water supply until the project is complete. |

Step 1: Label the connections
Before you unscrew the old hoses, mark the hot and cold water connections.
 Label the hot and cold water supply lines before disconnecting the hoses.

Step 2: Turn off the water supply
Pull the washing machine away from the wall and turn off the water supply. The water shut-off valve is located between the two hoses on the wall or at the top of each supply hose.
Shut off the water supply using the valve located between the two hoses on the wall.

Step 3: Disconnect the water supply hose
With the water off and connections marked, use groove-joint pliers to loosen the fitting on the cold-water supply hose. Keep a bucket and towel handy to catch any water remaining in the hose.
Disconnect the cold-water supply hose.

Step 4: Disconnect the hose at the washer inlet
Diconnect the the cold-water hose from the washing machine at the inlet located on the back. Loosen the fitting with the pliers if it cannot be loosened by hand.
Disconnect the cold-water hose from the back of the washing machine.

Step 5: Connect the new supply hose
Starting at the washing machine, connect the new stainless-steel hose to the cold-water inlet. Tighten the fitting by hand and then tighten by a half-turn using the pliers. Do not over-tighten the fittings. An inner seal keeps the connection leak-free.
Connect the new stainless-steel hose to the washer at the cold-water inlet.

Step 6: Connect the hose to the water supply
Connect the new hose to the water supply, tightening the fitting by hand and then snugging it tight with the pliers. Do not over-tighten the fitting.

Step 7: Disconnect the hot water supply
Disconnect the hot water supply hose using groove-joint pliers to loosen the fitting. Keep the towel and bucket handy to catch any water.
Disconnect the hot-water supply hose.

Step 8: Disconnect the hot-water hose and connect the new line
Disconnect the hot-water hose from the inlet at the back of the washing machine. Attach the new stainless-steel hose by tightening the fittings by hand and then with a turn of the pliers. Do not over-tighten.
After you disconnect the old hose from the machine, tighten the fitting on the new stainless-steel hose.

Step 9: Attach the new hot-water supply hose and turn on the water
Attach the new hot-water supply hose to the outlet at the wall. Tighten the fitting using the groove-joint pliers. Do not over-tighten. The rubber seals on each end are designed for a tight fit. Turn on the water supply and watch for any leaks. Gently tighten fittings to stop leaks. Move washer back into place.
Tighten the fittings on the new supply hose and turn on the water.
