A Jenn-Air Pro-Style Range and Metrowire shelving system are installed to make this diner style kitchen any chef's dream come true. The loft is a historical building, so a Braun hood was installed to compensate for the lack of exhaust outside the building. The fan is equipped with two charcoal filters on either side of the exhaust fan in addition to the grease filters. The range will be vented inside the room, and the hood is the best possible solution.
With the circuit breaker off, Barry Driscoll wired the hood. Using standard 14-2, as you would for a lighting fixture, the conductors are color matched. The Jenn-Air Pro-Style Range has infinite control setting, an electronic clock, are self cleaning, and grill models feature Excalibur® nonstick grill grate finish.
To install the professional styled Metrowire shelving system from InterMetro, Ryley first dimpled the stainless steel wall so the drill bit didn't float. The heavy weight stainless steel vertical brackets are installed directly into the studs. Ryley used a metal cutting cobalt drill bit that has a flatter head than a wood bit.
The metal rods are placed in the vertical brackets and now the design began. Shelves, baskets large and small, and numerous accessories are fitted onto the steel grid work with brackets. The flexibility of the Metrowire system is used in restaurant style kitchens because of space constraints and the necessity to custom design shelves. All the components can be combined in a variety of ways, and a kitchen designer would be a tremendous asset when installing one of these Metrowire systems.
