I have a GE refrigerator that is 2 years old. I have a feeling it is a lemon as it has needed repair once a year two years in a row when the freezer was losing power due to faulty wiring in the back panel.

Lately I notice that about once a week a small pool of water appears at the bottom of the unit. It is small but I wonder if in time the pool could get bigger and flood the kitchen.

1. does the water come from a leak underneath the unit? or behind the unit?
2. what could cause the leak?

I think GE should replace this unit FOR FREE given that this is the third problem I have had in 2 years.

Advice?

Thank you.
