** it looks like the water is coming from underneath. **

Great, now someone will just have to determine from where.

It could be the defrost water drain pan overflowing (possibly from too much frost developing on the evaporator coil), the drain pan cracked, the drain hose or pan just out of position or from one of the water lines of the fridge (if an icemaker is installed). Your model doesn't look to have a water dispenser to worry about.

There could also be the possibility it is actually leaking from inside the fridge compartment if there is water pooling beneath the crisper drawers.

** I think it is a sad day when GE refuses to make its customers happy. **

There is a limit to what any company can afford to do to keep a customer happy... especially when they're not obligated to because the product is no longer even covered by warranty. I think it is unreasonable to expect a product to be replaced just because of two unrelated problems in two years.

Would you expect a automobile manufacturer to replace a car just because two problems developed in two years and it was no longer covered by their warranty?

There are 'lemon laws' in most places which might require replacement of a product but that usually requires multiple (2-3+) failed attempts to correct the *same* problem or even more unrelated repairs. Just two (2) would not qualify by any stretch of my imagination... no matter how new it might be, even when still covered by warranty.
