insulation/basement walls

just wondering , if basement walls swet in summer , which mine sometimes do , will the swet from the walls wreck the insulation i have put on my walls, i made sure the insulation was not completly touching the walls for air , but not much though ,
if i had put plastic on the walls prior to insulating would that have been a good idea , or no , i would assume it would make the insulation swet ,,,and info on this ??? Was this post helpful? Yes: or No:
